Star of Texas Fair & Rodeo Calf Scramble Information

The new Calf Scramble program is now called Ultimate Scramble Championship, and it will be a one-day tournament (Saturday, March 17th), with half of all 112 participants winning certificates of at least $1,000. The top winner will win $5,000, and all winning participants can purchase any of the following: market steer, lamb, goat, barrow, or breeding heifer or breeding goat. Online entries begin January 15th. County agents and ag teachers will be the ones to sign up students wanting to participate. The entry process will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, and we are no longer allotting a certain amount per district.
